This bundle contains two different moderation templates and a guideline of questions to ask during moderation for use during collaborative moderation of student work samples and assessments. Pdf and editable word / excel formats are provided for easy modification if required. Resources in this bundle include:

• Moderation template 1 - word and pdf formats

• Moderation template 2 - word format, pdf format, and excel spreadsheet format (10 tabs for 10 assessments)

• Moderation Questions Guideline - word and pdf formats

The purpose(s) of moderation include:

Moderation is to be completed prior to an assessment being given out to students.  The purposes of this internal moderation process are to:

·         ensure that the assessment has been fully critiqued for approval by an appropriate assessor prior to student use.

·         ensure that the assessment instructions, tasks, guidelines and marking guides allow students to be assessed at the local/ State / National standard.

·         ensure that the assessment tasks allow students the opportunity to achieve at all levels of the standard / descriptor.
