This literacy lesson focuses on teaching Classification Report Writing, as part of the ‘Description Report Writing Literacy Lessons’ series. Students will build their understanding of the features of a classification report in order to write one themselves. The lesson PowerPoint is structured using the gradual release pedagogical model of ‘I do, we do, you do’, with the activities centred around describing types of sports within your school and using language features in a classification report writing task.
