This literacy lesson focuses on teaching Compositional Report Writing, as part of the ‘Description Report Writing Literacy Lessons’ series. Students will build their understanding of the features of a compositional report in order to write one themselves. The lesson PowerPoint is structured using the gradual release pedagogical model of ‘I do, we do, you do’, with the activities centred around describing identifying parts of an object and using language features in a compositional report writing task.
