This literacy lesson focuses on teaching Comparative Report Writing, as part of the ‘Description Report Writing Literacy Lessons’ series. Students will build their understanding of the features of a comparative report in order to write one themselves. The lesson PowerPoint is structured using the gradual release pedagogical model of ‘I do, we do, you do’, with the activities centred around describing components of phenomena, objects, or categories being compared, and using comparative vocabulary in report writing tasks.
