This literacy lesson focuses on teaching paragraph writing. Students will build their understanding of how to write TEEL paragraphs focusing specifically on the topic sentence and expanding sentence. The lesson PowerPoint is structured using the gradual release pedagogical model of ‘I do, we do, you do’, with the activities centred around students applying their knowledge of how to provide examples, explain them, and link the information back to the contention or main point.
