This excel spreadsheet provides multiple tabs to comprehensively plan whole school assessments across all cohorts. Visually, each team member can see at a glance what the assessments are and when they have been planned.

The purposes of this calendar include:

a) SURVEYS - To provide an overview of the schoolwide surveys. This includes school surveys and state/ regional/ national surveys.

b) ASSESSMENTS - To provide an overview of the schools compulsory assessments that are completed at each year level. Three assessments minimum should be used to triangulate school data for the dual purpose of analysing and comparing trends over time both within and between cohorts across the same and different years, and to create next steps to improve student learning outcomes.

c) STUDENT FILES - To provide an overview of what student files are collected at each year level for the purpose of holding for moderation and for parent-teacher interviews.

d) HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS - To provide an overview of the high frequency words that are taught in the primary sector.

e) STUDENT ASSESSMENTS - To provide an overview of where student assessment samples are stored for each year level or subject area. Storage of assessment qualifications information can be stored either in hard copy in boxes or files, electronically, or both.

f) LINKS TO STUDENT ASSESSMENTS AND STUDENT COURSE OUTLINES - To provide links to relevant documents pertaining to assessment and qualifications information, including student course outlines for each year level in the secondary sector.
